Patti and Dave in the shop
It is my honor to be the owner of Schmidt’s Flowers & Accessories (www.schmidtsflowers.net ) in Williamsburg Virginia. Schmidt’s was established in 1939 and has been a Williamsburg Tradition ever since! I, however, have not been here since 1939! My husband, Dave and I took a leap of faith and did a lifestyle change in 2006 and moved our family(two teenage girls and two dogs) from New Jersey where my husband Dave worked on Wall Street and I worked as floral designer. We bought the shop in 2007 and have lovingly restored it to it’s grandeur! (We also added a third dog to the family!) I also founded a non profit, Blooms That Brighten Inc. The mission of Blooms that Brighten ( www.bloomsthatbrighten.com )is to provide fresh flower arrangments free of charge to continueing care facilites and hospice house. I hope you will enjoy going on the ride with us!
